A 30 year old marshall has died after being hit by a car in Killarney race course today. The marshall sustained head poly trauma and was declared dead on the arrival of South African Paramedics Services.
“South African Paramedic Services who do the medical standby for the race track were on the scene quickly but the patient had already died”.
“ER24 was notified by South African Paramedic Services of the incident when it occurred and also responded to the scene as per an agreement between the medical services,” said ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadely.
Police were in attendance and are investigating the incident.
