The third day into the municipal workers strike has brought the city centre to a standstill.

About 150 members of SAMWU and IMATU are marching through the city in protest of an ongoing wage dispute.

The workers will make their way to the Civic Centre, where they will be joined by other striking members and addressed by CCMA co-ordinator Michael Khumalo.
