Drug bust in the Cape Flats

A 27 year old woman was arrested for drugs and cash with a total value of about R55 000-00 yesterday.
“Police members executed a search warrant at a house in Susan Close, Brentwood Park and confiscated 32 grams of Tik and 104 Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R5 000 in the bedroom,” said Inspector Odwa Makupula.
Inspector Makupula says in another bedroom a total of R50 000-00 in cash was also confiscated.
The suspect was arrested on the scene and expected to appear in Blue Downs Magistrates’ court on Monday on a charge of dealing in drugs.
