A man believed to be from Parklands in Table View, appeared in the Cape Town magistrate court for possession of fake Ids and bank papers.
The suspect, Nkosinathi Martin, was arrested on Thursday after police searched his house.
It is reported that police recovered fake ID books and false bank papers at his home during the raid.
The man also has six fraud related cases against him from the Wynberg Magistrate Court.
Martin will be able to apply for bail on August 5, but for now he remains in police custody.
