Man and a child hit by a car

A boy and an adult man was hit by car while cycling with on Symphony Road near Delft Main Road yesterday.

It is reported that the bicycle was hit by the car causing the man to sustain major trauma the child aged nine sustain injuries.

Tristan Wadeley Emergency Media & Client Liaison for Western Cape say when the ER24 paramedics arrived the man had a decreased level of consciousness.

“The man was taken by the ambulance to Tygerberg Hospital and is in a critical condition”, said Wadeley.

The child sustained minor injuries and was taken to Delft Day Hospital.
