A 28 year old Mandisi Phakathi Ngcawuzele was buried in Maitland cemetery on Saturday.
His body arrived at his home in NY111 no 150 in Gugulethu at 7 o’clock in the morning.
The family service happened until 8 o’clock, and a convoy led by a white hearse limousine left, first to his father’s place kwaMzoli and to Zwane Congregation church where his funeral Service was held.
The Gugulethu Community was out of their homes watching the convoy other’s were grieving like Nkosi Mazibuko who was saying “Oh Mandisi, I don’t believe this”.
Nkosi described Mandisi as a humble guy who always welcomed people with love in the butchery.
Among the people who attended the funeral were Mcebisi Sikhwatsha, Themba Zulu, Zola Yeye, Songezo Mjongile and Malose Kekane.
“The Butcher Boy” as he was known died last Saturday on a car accident.
