In just two hours, The Nelson Mandela Foundation has raised more than R1 million.
In an effort to raise funds for the charity, businesses and ordinary citizens have been donating money and their support for the icon and his contribution to the betterment of humanity.
The former South African president, has urged the people worldwide to devote 67 minutes of their time to deliver acts of goodwill in their communities.
Each minute represents a year sacrificed by Madiba for the liberation of the country.
