One person died and another injured in a car collision with a truck on the N2 between Knsyna and Sedgefield.
It is alleged that the car drove into the back of the truck resulting in the car catching fire.
The driver of the car died on arrival of emergency services after burning in the car.
A passenger from the truck was taken by paramedics to Knsyna Provincial Hospital for further treatment and is in a stable condition .
Police were in attendance and are investigating the collision.
