Six men armed with knifes robbed a clothing store in Access Park in Kenilworth yesterday afternoon at point.
Police are searching for the suspects who posed as customers before they robbed the store.
One of the men pulled out a knife and threatened an employee before leaving the store with some quantity of clothes and cellphone.
“The shop security guard was standing outside when the incident occurred and when he tried to get hold of the suspects they ran away,” said police spokesperson Angie Latchman.
Police are urging anyone with information that can assist with the investigation must contact Constable Vuzeka Mani at the Claremont police station on 021 657 2210
