Three people injured in a bus accident

Three people have been injured in Modderdam Road when the bus lost one of its wheels early this morning.

It is reported that the bus was driving in the direction of the airport when the front wheel came out. The wheel hit the VW Golf that had two people inside.

“The Driver and the passenger of the Golf sustained minor and moderate injuries respectively and were taken by ER24 ambulances to Louis Leipoldt Medi-Clinic”.

“The bus driver sustained minor injuries and was taken by a Metro EMS ambulance to Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital” said ER24 Tristan Wadeley.

The were no passengers inside the bus when the accident occurred.
