Three suspects will appear in the Atlantis Magistrates’ court on charges of murder and attempted murder.
The suspects were arrested yesterday morning in the Robinvale area in connection with a murder and attempted murder that occurred on Saturday night.
According to police the shooting incident occurred on late Saturday evening in Robinvale.
The suspects approached the victims, who were standing in the drive-way of premises where liquor is being sold.
The suspects fired several shots at the victims, during which six people were wounded.
One of the victims, 23 years old Heinrich Thomas was wounded in the chest.
He was taken to hospital where he passed away. The other two victims were taken to hospital and are currently in a critical condition.
The other three victims received medical treatment for flesh wounds.
Police say they are investigating the possibility that the incident was gang-related.
