Two suspects have been arrested for being in possession of alleged stolen property and house breaking in Hout Bay this morning.
This is after police were alerted by security guards.
The first suspect was arrested in the nearby bushes where he was hiding, while the second was arrested in a packed vehicle.
“Police found various items in their possession that were stolen from a shop at the Mainstream shopping centre in Hout Bay,” said Inspector Tanya Lesch.
Inspector Lesch added that four laptops, DVD’s and two cellular phones were found at the value estimated at approximately at R100 000.00.
The suspects will appear in the Wynberg Magistrate court on Monday on charges of alleged stolen property and house breaking.
