Khayelitsha police are investigating several cases of hit-and-run incidents.
The first incident took place on the 8th of November 2008.
It is believed that Zandisile William Ngqwala had been knocked over by a mini-bus taxi at the intersection of Bunga and Lansdowne Road, Site B, Khayelitsha.
The victim died on the scene.
The second incident took place on the 2nd of May 2008 at 20:00. 42 year old Vuyisile Nkunga, from Khayelitsha, was hit by an unknown vehicle on the corner of Lansdowne and Mew Way.
The vehicle did not stop.
The third incident took place on the 30th of August 2008 at 20:15.
It is believed that a white Toyota taxi had been involved.
Thobile Beda, 25 years of age, had been knocked over by this vehicle but the driver did not stop to investigate or report the incident.
The incident took place in Lansdowne Road between BM-and QQ Block, Khayelitsha.
