A 28 year old male from Mitchell’s Plain has been arrested for being in possession of drugs.
The arrest happened this morning when the members of the Dog Unit in Beaufort West were doing a routine check on all of the cars on the road, which are traveling from Eastern Cape to Cape Town.
“The discovery was made after a Translux bus was pulled from the road for a routine check at Donkin Street. 564 grams work of tik with a street value of about R225 600-00 was confiscated”.
“During the search police used narcotic dogs, when they confiscated the drugs said police spokesperson Capt De Klerk.
