Seven people sustained injuries after their vehicle overturned on Adderley Road in Durbanville earlier today.
The Toyota Condor was lying on its roof at the side of the road facing oncoming traffic.
“Five patients sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Tygerberg Hospital for further treatment, two other occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and did not want to go to hospital,” said ER24 spokesperson Tristan Wadely.
It is unclear what caused the vehicle to overturn.
