Two Home Affairs officials aged 27 and 34 respectively, were arrested today at the Home Affairs Nyanga offices.
The arrests follow the previous arrest of their colleague aged 28.
Police say the men are suspected of selling refugee papers to foreign nationals.
“The three suspects are suspected of having sold refugee asylum papers to foreign nationals at considerable amounts,” said Spokesperson Superintendent Andre Traut.
Traut says the suspects’ activities have been investigated for some time and they will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding their crime.
He says and they can not rule out the possibility of further arrests in due course.
The suspects are being detained until their court appearance in Bishop Lavis on Thursday.
