Cape Town police are appealing for information from the public after robbers targeted two businesses.
A liquor store is Durbanville was hit yesterday morning when the owner opened the store.
Four armed men threatened him and his staff and stole cash.
In a separate incident, customers and staff of the Chapman’s Peak Hotel in Hout Bay were robbed at gun point.
“Five males entered the hotel; one suspect pointed the complainant with a firearm while the other suspects jumped over the counter and took money from the barman. The complainant and employee were ordered to the lay on the ground and were searched taking their cell phones, while demanding the keys of the safe and bar,” said SAPS spokesperson Inspector Ian Bennet.
A gang got away with money, cellphones, liquor and a 2003 silver Mercedes Benz.
No arrests have yet been made.
