The South Gauteng High Court heard today that former police commissioner Jackie Selebi told his once-time friend Glenn Agliotti that the Scorpions should go.
The convicted drug trafficker turned State witness told Selebi's corruption trial Selebi had indicated the Directorate of Special Operations should be absorbed into the Police Service.
Asked by prosecutor Gerrie Nel how he knew about alleged tension between the DSO and the police, Agliotti said it was through Selebi and the media.
