The public spat between African National Congress Youth League leader Julius Malema and the party’s secretary general Gwede Mantashe is expected to be dealt with.
The matter will be discussed at the ANC’s national executive committee meeting today.
It comes after Malema accused Mantashe of not supporting him.
This is when he was booed and refused permission to speak at the Communist Party conference in Polokwane last week.
Malema reportedly warned in text messages to SACP deputy general secretary Jeremy Cronin that he would retaliate against his political opponents.
