African National Congress Youth League leader Julius Malema says he has accepted what they regard as the Communist Party’s “invitation to war”.
Malema was addressing the National Press Club in Pretoria this morning.
Malema again attacked the ANC’s alliance partner, despite a call from President Jacob Zuma for respect and discipline.
The out-spoken youth leader was booed at the SACP’s conference in Limpopo last week.
This was after a public spat between him and Communist Party deputy leader Jeremy Cronin.
He says the treatment he received was a planned tactic by the SACP leadership to throw down the gauntlet to the Youth League.
