A 42 year old woman was arrested for perjury yesterday after she falsely claimed she was robbed of her cellphone.
Captain Ezra October says the investigation officer obtained a witness’s statement which revealed that the complainant in the robbery case registered a false statement to the police.
The woman appeared at the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
