Newsflash News Agency reports that Blue Bulls Rugby Union President Boet Fick has resigned from the position.
Fick is expected to vacate the post on June.
This follows his election as an executive member of the South African Rugby for the next four years.
His deputy Louis Nel, will take over the reigns until November, when new elections will be held during the Blue Bulls Rugby Union’s annual general meeting.
To the field now, the Bulls led the Lions 29-11 late in a local Super 14 derby in Pretoria this afternoon.
Earlier the Waratahs stayed in contention for the semi-finals when they beat the Brumbies 19-12 in Sydney.
In New Zealand, the Hurricanes won an exciting game against the Highlanders 33-31.
And the game between the Sharks and the Blues has just kicked off in Durban.
