The Cheetahs became the third South African team to lose this weekend in the Super 14series following the defeats of the Stormers and the Bulls.
Wet weather dampened the mood further for the Cheetahs who went down 40 to 17 against the Waratahs in Sydney, Australia.
Later this afternoon the Sharks take on the Reds in Durban.
