A four year old has been killed after being struck by a vehicle on Koeberg road earlier today.
The girl was declared dead on arrival of paramedics.
ER24’s Derrick Banks says on arrival of paramedics at the scene, the girl was lying in the road and was unresponsive.
“It is believed that the little girl had run into the road while the car was approaching from the other side. While emergency personnel were on the scene the family had started to arrive and you could feel the tension over the death of this little girl,” said Banks.
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries from the accident.
Police were on the scene and are investigating the accident.
