President Jacob Zuma and his deputy Kgalema Motlanthe are expected to take a lead in the national launch of the HIV counselling and testing campaign.
The country’s first citizens respectively will publicly get tested themselves.
The HIV counselling and testing campaign will officially kick off tomorrow at the Natalspruit Hospital on the East Rand in Johannesburg.
Media reports say the campaign was initially due to start on April 15 but was postponed while Zuma was away on official duty.
Government says it wants to lead by example during the campaign, which aims to test up to 15 million people by June next year.
