The husband of a woman that was strangled on Dieu Donn wine estate in Franschhoek was given bail today.
Johan du Toit appeared before the Paarl Magistrate’s Court today and was released on six-thousand-Rand bail.
He is to report to the Franschhoek police station twice a week, as part of his bail conditions.
John is accused of strangling his wife who was found dead at their home on the wine estate on July 7.
Media reports say Chanel's step-father had said that police told the family they found hair and skin under Chanel's nails.
The case was postponed to September 22.
