Grandfather drives through shop door

A 68 year old grandfather is spending the weekend behind bars. The man drove through a glass of a shopping centre in Kuils River.

He became very aggressive after buying his beer.

At the time the man was with his five year old granddaughter when he started being aggressive.

His granddaughter was sitting in the front passenger seat of the car but luckily she was not injured.

The manager of the liquor store was unfortunately injured in the incident.

Police officer Isaac van Niekerk stated that the man faces charges of driving under the influence of liquor.
