North West parents say they are fed up with overcrowding in classrooms and say they will voice their concerns until their children get decent schools.

Nineteen schools did not get a chance to start the third term in the province due to service delivery protests after five were set alight on Monday.

The closures affect more than nine-thousand learners, including matriculants who are only left with 90 days before writing their final exams. Basic Education director-general Bobby Soobrayan says an education monitoring system has been put in place.

The angry residents are not satisfied with the promises from government and say they will not stop the protest until they receive service delivery.
