A 16-year-old girl is extremely traumatized after being set alight in Philippi, Cape Town.
The incident happened last week, where a group of people in Philippi attacked and poured petrol on her before setting her alight.
The mother of the girl has told a media organization that her daughter is traumatized and in constant pain.
The 16-year-old girl suffered burns to most of her upper body, but she is now in a serious but stable condition.
The incident is believed to be gang-related and the seven minors have been arrested.
