Political analysts say, African National Congress Youth League leader Julius Malema suffered a serious political blow at the hands of President Jacob Zuma.
Zuma opened the ANC National General Council in Durban yesterday.
The president engraved his authority within the party, saying the ANC’s various leagues should come into line and realise they are not alliance partners and must obey party regulations.
Zuma said discipline needed be restored within the ANC.
The NGC continues until tomorrow.
