An unknown armed man entered a house in Torgue Street Leiden, Delft at about 24h40 last night.
The man entered the house and opened fire at the people inside the house.
One person was shot while sitting in the lounge and two others were shot while lying in separate rooms, the three people passed away on the scene.
A 24-year-old woman and her 5-year-old son also sustained bullet wounds. The woman sustained a bullet wound in the back and the child sustained a bullet wound on his left arm, they are both in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Three other men aged 20, 22 and 28-years-old were also fatally wounded during the shooting incident.
Police have opened a murder case-docket and are requesting the help of the public, who have any information to contact their local police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
