The Retail Motor Industry says it is not shocked by the thefts from car dealerships across the Cape Peninsula.
The RMI warned that car thieves are becoming more sophisticated and ground-breaking.
Last Friday’s media reports revealed several dealership bosses who suspected they were being targeted.
Yesterday local newspapers showed a car theft that took place in less than 60 seconds.
However, RMI boss Jeff Osbourne says the thugs would not be staying in Cape Town for long.
