Knysna police have arrested five people and seized cocaine worth R380 million following a tip off from the public.
Captain Malcolm Pojie said, “They received information from the public regarding illegal activities taking place near the Knysna Waterfront.”
Pojie said, “The suspects accompanied the members of the SAPS to the boat where they discovered the 48 bags of bricked cocaine after being interrogated at their plac of residence.”
The cocaine and the boat worth around R1.5 million was confiscated.
The suspects will appear int the Knysna Magistrate's court on Monday.
