Severe flooding on the West Coast has left more than 250 people displaced.
The communities of Ebenezer, Vredendal North and Lutzville have been the hardest hit.
Western Cape social development MEC Patricia de Lille will visit the Matzikama municipal area today.
Officials are rendering support to affected families.
Meanwhile, yesterday’s severe flooding in parts of Gauteng was followed by widespread power outages in Johannesburg and Pretoria last night.
Flooding was especially severe along the Klipspruit in Soweto and the Jukskei River in Randburg.
Around 1200 families in Orlando East are being assisted by the Gift of the Givers organisation.
