African National Congress Youth League leader, Julius Malema, deemed the World Festival for Youth and Students a resounding success.
The Festival was concluded yesterday at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
Malema thanked the government and the National Lottery for funding the event at a cost of 69-million-Rands.
Organisers of the Festival have been heavily criticised over its price tag, and over the apparent lack of organisation at the event.
