Metro police ordered to Bees Roux case

Lusanda Bill
10 December 2010

Blue Bulls rugby player Jacobus Stephanus "Bees" Roux was back in the Pretoria Magistrate Court today.

Bees has been accused of murdering Metro Police Officer Ntshimane Johannes Mogale in August.

Bees Roux is currently out on a R100 000 bail.

Roux’s lawyer Rudi Krause told the court that he wanted Tshwane Metro Police Officer Leonard Erasmus to appear in court, along with certain documents.

Nobody knows what the documents contained because Erasmus did not bring the papers with him to court.

Chief Magistrate Desmond Nair told Bees’s lawyer that the R100 000 bail that Bees was granted, to be converted into guarantee.

This means that Rudi Krause firm will be responsible for the bail if Bees fails to honour his bail condition.
