Pretoria commuters may face possible bus service disruptions after the suspension of 25 bus drivers, one workshop employee and one inspector on charges of fraud, theft and intimidation.
The Tshwane Metro Council says it intends suspending another 40 drivers next week.
Spokesperson Console Tleane says law enforcers are on high alert to prevent drivers from obstructing bus depots.
The suspensions follow two years of bus services marred by illegal strikes, intimidation of management and complaints by commuters.
