On Saturday, two people were murdered in separate incidents in Cradock.

“A 65-year-old woman who was found with a stab wound was badly assaulted in a street in Lingelihle township,” said Police spokesperson Stefanie Smith.

The cause of her death is not known and a murder case has been opened.

A man was stabbed to death in another incident by a friend following an argument between the two.

The friend was arrested and faces a charge of murder.

He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrate's Court soon.
