On Saturday, two people were murdered in separate incidents in Cradock.
“A 65-year-old woman who was found with a stab wound was badly assaulted in a street in Lingelihle township,” said Police spokesperson Stefanie Smith.
The cause of her death is not known and a murder case has been opened.
A man was stabbed to death in another incident by a friend following an argument between the two.
The friend was arrested and faces a charge of murder.
He will appear in the Adelaide Magistrate's Court soon.
