An 18-year-old is expected to appear in the Butterworth Magistrate’s Court in the Eastern Cape, for allegedly stabbing his friend to death during an argument.
It is alleged that the 18-year-old and a 17-year-old were drinking in a local tavern when an argument about their manhood started.
Police spokesperson Jackson Manatha said “the 18-year-old fled the scene after he stabbed the 17-year-old”.
Community members caught the 18-year-old who tried to run away and beat him up.
He was eventually arrested by police.
