ANC plans to create 5-million jobs over the next ten years

African National Congress secretary general, Gwede Mantashe briefed the media today on the ANC's two-day Lekgotla that was held in Johannesburg last week.

Gwede Mantashe said “the party remains confident, that five-million jobs will be created over the next ten-years”.

He called on everybody to come up with practical programmes to create jobs.

Government plans to create jobs in areas such as agriculture, tourism, mining and business services.
