ANCYL Julius Malema hate speech court case postponed

Lusanda Bill
19 January 2011

The hate speech against ANC Youth League President Julius Malema has been postponed again by the Equality Court in Johannesburg.

A confusion over email address for correspondence sent to Malema's legal team caused papers not to be filed on time which has caused the postponement.

Julius Malema has now been given until Monday by Judge Collin Lamont to file the papers.

The complaint was lodged by AfriForum because of Malema’s continued use of the "Shoot the Boer" slogan.

The court case will now resume in April.
