Police are investigating a case of murder after the body of a Sea Point woman was discovered in her flat.
Inspector November Filander says neighbours alerted police of a stench coming from the deceased’s flat.
Filander says the woman, who has not yet been identified, sustained multiple stab wounds.
“When police arrived, they found the body of a female with a plastic bag over her head with multiple stab wounds to her body,” said Filander.
No arrests have been yet as police investigations continue.
