Eight suspects in a child pornography ring may appeal a decision by the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court to deny them bail.
Children’s rights activists welcomed the court’s decision on Tuesday.
The eight face charges of rape, indecent assault, sexual grooming of children, as well as the production and distribution of child pornography.
The suspects will appear in court later this month.
