The City of Cape Town says it will not be threatened by restaurant and club owners about a new liquor by-law.
The new by-law that come’s into effect later this week will prohibit clubs, restaurants and pubs in different areas from serving alcohol after 2am.
The newly-formed Club, Bar and Restaurant Association says it has appointed a legal team and the City has been given an ultimatum.
Many business owners believe that their livelihoods will be taken away.
