The Congress of South African Trade Unions and its affiliates have sent their condolences to the families of the ten young men and women, who died during the celebration of welcoming the New Year at a tavern in Ipelegeng.
Cosatu have stated that it is very concerned that the young generation is losing its credibility out of nothing.
The seven men and three women died after a stampede erupted at the Basotho tavern in the early hours of New Year’s day.
