A five-year-old boy was killed when his parents got a lift from Humansdorp to Clarkson in the Eastern Cape.
Spokeswoman Gerda Swart said, “The boy and his parents had just gotten out from a vehicle when he suddenly ran across the busy N2 and was struck by the school bus travelling from Knysna.”
Swart said, “The bus ran over the boy, followed by the motorbike which was travelling behind it.”
No arrests have been made.
A case of culpable homicide is being investigated.
