A second cache of weapons has been discovered on Gauteng’s East Rand.
Eleven hand grenades and assorted ammunition were confiscated at a house Boksburg North.
Weapons expert, Helmoed Heitman says, “Criminals are somehow getting their hands on leftover weapons from the apartheid era.”
He’s biggest concern is that the weapons being discovered are more powerful than the average handgun.
The home owner will face charges of crimes against the state.
