Lusanda Bill
26 January 2011
Government has been called by the National Press Club to set up a commission of enquiry to investigate the SABC.
On Tuesday the South Gauteng High Court ruled that the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa should reopen its investigation into affairs at the corporation.
The National Union of Metalworkers of SA stated that the ruling by the court was a victory for the public.
Press Club Chairperson Yusaf Abramjee says the public broadcaster has been weighed down for far too long.
