Provincial Department Labour inspectors have given of home owners in the Cape Town suburb of Bishopscourt have been given a clean sheet.
Provincial Department chief director, Teboho Thejane says the first day of inspections showed residents in the area were compliant with labour laws regarding domestic workers.
Many were found to be treating their domestic workers very well, some even paying their workers’ children’s school and university fees.
Inspectors will visit Constantia, Pinelands and several other suburbs over the course of this week.
