Matric pupils at private institutions have seen an over 98-percent pass rate in this year’s National Senior Certificate exams.
The 2010 figure represents a one-percent increase in the pass rate compared to 2009.
Almost eight-thousand-300 learners wrote the IEB exams with 81-percent qualifying for university entry.
Public institutions will release their exam marks on Thursday, January 6.
